The 3rd China Dongguang Plastic Machinery Expo 2023 opens

On May 19th, 2023, the 3rd China Dongguang Plastic Machinery Expo opened at the Dongguang County Packaging Machinery International Convention and Exhibition Center in Cangzhou. This expo is hosted by the People's Government of Dongguang County and the Dongguang County Plastic Packaging Industry Association, attracting more than 200 companies to participate.

It is reported that Dongguang County has a strong industrial foundation and is known as the "Famous Packaging County in China" and the "First Plastic Township in Jiangbei". On February 14, 2023, the "China Plastic Packaging Industry Base (Dongguang)" and "China Plastic Packaging Famous Town (Yuqiao)" successfully passed the expert review. The China Packaging Federation and Dongguang County People's Government signed a strategic cooperation agreement on further promoting the development of Dongguang packaging industry.   

After more than 40 years of unremitting efforts and continuous development, the plastic packaging industry in Dongguang County has more than 2000 enterprises and more than 30000 employees, mainly including plastic printing series, plastic composite series, plastic bag making series, blown film series, various consumables and accessories series. The products have more than 100 varieties and thousands of specifications, sold to various parts of the country and exported to multiple countries and regions.

In recent years, the pace of transformation and upgrading of the plastic packaging industry in Dongguang County has been accelerating, entering a new stage

of development comprehensively. Especially in terms of environmental protection, there is a huge investment and continuous improvement in technological

content, such as the transformation from ink printing to ink printing, which effectively reduces pollution while also reducing costs and enhancing product

competitiveness. In addition, the plastic packaging industry in Dongguang County has formed an industrialized development pattern that integrates plastic

packaging machinery manufacturing, raw material supply, injection molding, film blowing, bag making, plate making, printing, and distribution.

It is reported that the participating companies of this expo are spread across 22 provinces and 4 municipalities directly under the central government

in China, with more than 200 companies. The exhibition area covers 15000 square meters and attracts over 16000 professional visitors. The exhibition

is divided into packaging equipment area, packaging product area, and raw material area. The exhibits cover film blowing equipment series, printing

equipment series, composite equipment series, bag making and cutting equipment series, raw materials and consumables, etc. The Expo has a wide

range of exhibits, high-quality products, strong professionalism, and active transactions, and has become one of the professional exhibitions with

considerable scale and influence in China. Multiple sets of advanced domestic products, including a four axis robotic arm automatic stacking 800 meter

high-speed slitting machine, a 1-meter-wide high-speed octagonal sealing machine, a high-speed electronic axis printing machine, and a 1050 three

fold compound 500 meter solvent-free machine, were showcased at this expo.

Wang Xinxin, the general manager of Haoze Plastic Industry Co., Ltd. in Dongguang County, said in an interview with reporters that this year's expo has a

large scale and many high-quality products, especially with many exhibitors from other places, which has received high attention from the industry. The Expo

has built a platform to absorb advanced concepts and technologies, as well as a platform for sharing and cooperation, which has played a good role in promoting

the development of enterprises.

Ma Tingjun, the president of Dongguang County Plastic Packaging Industry Association, introduced that the association was established in 2017 and is a

county-level social organization in the plastic packaging industry established by various units and individuals in Dongguang County in accordance with the law.

The association closely focuses on the economic construction center of Dongguang County, adhering to the "three services" principle of serving enterprises,

industries, and the government, relying on packaging enterprises and workers in Dongguang County and surrounding areas, to promote the sustained, rapid,

healthy, and coordinated development of Dongguang County's packaging industry. Next, the association will continue to use the Plastic Machinery Expo as

a lever to continuously improve the industry level, promote high-quality development of enterprises, and revitalize traditional industries and create new

performance.

This expo will last until May 21st.
